Presentation includes a historical look called "Zoonoses: Diseases that Come to Human (from the Rest of) the Animal World."

Dr. Peter Braun, a longtime Arlington resident, discusses Covid-19 in a video presented to the Brandeis Lifelong Learning Group and updated for the Lexington Computer and Technology Group. The latter occurred Jan. 6, the day a mob invaded the U.S. Congress. The retired internist, with a specialty in infectious disease, is a retired faculty member of the Harvard School of Public Health.

Watch his talk titled "Covid-19: A Primer." It includes a historical look called "Zoonoses: Diseases that Come to Human (from the Rest of) the Animal World":

Dr. Braun is a primary reviewer of a national, independent Institutional Review Board (IRB), which is chartered nationally to review clinical trials with respect to ethics, benefits and risks, and the disclosures in their informed-consent documents. No clinical trial can begin without IRB and FDA approval.

He was a founder of the Mystic River Watershed Association and a former member of the Arlington Conservation Commission.

Linda Braun, his spouse, is an educator, who was a member of the Tufts and Wheelock College faculties. She was a founder and executive director of Families First Parenting Programs of Massachusetts and for nine years was a member and sometime chair of the Arlington School Committee.
